Private Kyoto Seika University

In 1968, Kyoto Seika University was established with the aim of creating a completely new higher educational institution to nurture “true freedom” (the spirit of freedom and autonomy). The students and faculty members are actively engaging in this creative endeavor. Over 500 international students from 20 countries around the world are studying on campus. In 2021, The University is going to have five faculties and one cross-disciplinary degree program: Global Culture, Media Creation, Art, Design, Manga, and Human Environment Design Program.
