Kyoto Gakuen University (KGU) has been reborn as a university to support a new generation. Together with the Kameoka Campus which is surrounded by abundance of nature, it has taken on a double-campus format with the opening of an urban campus in Uzumasa, Kyoto—a city with a history of more than 1,000 years. The university is organized into 10 departments in 4 faculties which include the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Humanities, and the Faculty of Bioenvironmental Science. With a focus on practical learning in an age of globalization, it reopened in 2015 as a university integrating the arts and sciences.
The teachers at KGU are committed to providing close supervision to draw out the maximum potential of each student. Students at KGU can look forward to an education which is ahead of the times.
