I use ChatGPT. I practice by asking questions like, “You are an interviewer for a company in the XX sector. Please conduct a mock interview.” It’s helpful because they correct my Japanese and give me advice on what kind of answers would be good.

My school teacher taught me that it’s best to have no gaps in your work history on your resume. However, I have periods where I wasn’t working because I was studying, and I’m older than most recent graduates, so I always feel a little anxious when preparing my resume.

I understand how you feel, as I also have a gap in my resume. Because of that, I want to make sure I clearly communicate what I accomplished during my student years and the fact that I held multiple part-time jobs. However, I also have to adhere to the resume format, which I find challenging.
